About
Institute of Tourism and Hotels was established, in 1962, the graduates of the higher Institute and universities are accepted after passing personality tests . Duration of the study in the sense of tourism was two years granted after a student's diploma in tourist business . In 1967 Two of high Institute were established one of them is tourism and management of hotel "the higher Institute for tourism and the higher Institute for hotels" new regulations have been settled and the period of study became four years after it a student is granted bachelor degree . acceptance of persons is based on having general certificate of education with the condition of passing the personality test and study began with the new system in 1969 . In 1975, the two Institutes have merged in a one college with the name of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels affiliated to Helwan University.
