About
Deraya was created in 2010 through Presidential decree number 91. It is supervised and regulated by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. Governmental oversight is provided through the Council of Private Universities which is chaired by the minister., Located in the city of New Minia, and is the second private university to be established in Upper Egypt after Nahda University that were created in the city of Beni suef new 2006. It has two colleges : 1 - Faculty of pharmacy and pharmaceutical manufacturing. 2 - Faculty of physical therapy.
