About
The Faculty of Islamic and Arab Studies was founded under the auspices of Dr. Omar Ahmed Hashem, former President of Al-Azhar University, and Dr. Mohamed Sayed Tantawi, former Sheikh of Al-Azhar. In the year 2000/2001, Dr. Mohamed Arif Mahmoud Hassan Shaheen was the first Dean of the College. In 2003, Dr. Ibrahim Mousi Abdullah was appointed as the Dean of the College.
It was the beginning of a word in the academic year 2000/2001 where he was professor dr/ Mohamed aref Mahmoud Hassan Shaheen, the first Dean of the College .And in 2003 was appointed prof, Dr./ Ibrahim Al-Musa Abdullah, Undersecretary of the College from the Faculty of theology a branch of zagazig .
