The University of kafr El-Sheikh was established as a branch of the University of tanta since 1984, it was composed of 8 faculties, the faculties of Agriculture and veterinary medicine, and engineering Arts, Commerce, education type, education, sports, and then kafr El Sheikh University separated from tanta University and became an independent University since 2006.
